Put your boat together and get it in and out of the water no matter what your traveling rig. Though Lon Ethington (Pigs in Hiding) prefers to have his crew simply lift the boat by the rudder and set it onto the trailer, many of you will find that your pintles and gudgens are not sufficiently strong for that. You may then prefer to use the crane that we provide -- go ahead, it's free.
We've got a gin pole too (sorry no picture -- but it looks just like a gin pole), in case you don't carry your own. Ours is set in the ground so it won't fall over.
Once you're in the water, you'll find that we've got lots of sheltered dock space in the most protected cove on the whole lake. That's because we dug it ourselves.
We don't have enough empty slips to accomodate the whole J/24 fleet, so we usually just string the boats across the middle between the two docks.
