COLUMBIA SAILING CLUB invites you to our Midlands Regatta -- famous throughout the Southeast as a weekend of fun on and off the water. From the racing courses to the party wagon, & OYSTER ROAST we’re set for a weekend you won’t want to miss. Two great days of racing are planned, with courses for all ages and all sailboats. Some of the classes expected include:.

LAUNCHING ramps, gin pole, and all the help you can use will be at your disposal.

CAMPING is available for tents and trailers next to the beach on a first-come, first-served basis, or sleep on your boat. Your land support team can enjoy the beach and lake while you're on the race course. Sorry, dogs are not allowed on the property.

                                  Hilton Garden Inn (new) (803) 407-6640, Exit 102-A off I-26 onto Hwy 60

DIRECTIONS:

From I-26, Exit 102-A, onto Highway 60 (Lake Murray Blvd) continue thru Irmo for 3.9 miles. Then Right onto SC 6 for 0.5 miles, Left on Shuler Road to CSC.

From I-20 East or West: Exit to I-26 West and follow the directions above.

Not even building a new clubhouse can stop sailing at CSC!

A regatta is nothing if it’s not fun! Here’s the fun…

FRIDAY:           Meet old friends at the Boathouse in the back cove, set up your boat, stake out a campsite and enjoy libations from the party wagon 5:00 to 10:00 PM.

SATURDAY      Start the day at the Boathouse with complimentary doughnuts, coffee, milk and juice from 8:30 to 10 AM. After a full day of racing, meet your competitors around the party wagon to discuss your brilliant racing tactics. . Then at 5PM gather on the north side of the back cove for Cocktail Hour (Kids party at the Summer House 5PM) and THEN…..our WORLD FAMOUS OYSTER ROAST starts at 7 PM.

SUNDAY          Drop by the Boathouse at 8:30 AM to grab a doughnut and coffee. After the race, buy a burger from the CSC Ladies Auxiliary at the Summer House while scores are totaled. The Awards Ceremony will take place on the front lawn of the Summer House.
