Event Details
2008 will be the 41st annual CSC Easter Regatta on March 21-23. This popular regatta always yields a large turn out of J/24’s coming from all parts of the eastern United States and Canada. It is a great weekend for sailors and spectators with plenty of competitive racing, great food, and great people.
This regatta is the CSC Open regatta which will be held October 25 & 26 in 2008. The two day event sees all classes of boats, including Optimists, Sunfish, Laser, JY-15, Cats, Thistle, Lightning, E-Scow, MC Scow, San Juan 21, PHRF Spinnaker and Non Spinnaker, Catalina 25, 171 Fleet, and Melges 24 to name a few. The Junior sailors have their own course and events. A Cruising Fleet has been added with a separate start.
Saturday evening begins with a fun filled cocktail hour followed by a great southern meal. The CSCA will cook lunch on Sunday, for a small fee. It is a fun event for everyone. Click these links for a map, directions and a list of accommodations.
